Lipomassage Article.

Lately, there’s been a lot of buzz about a new spa treatment by LPG that claims to smooth cellulite as it slims and recontours the body. It’s called Lipomassage, and we’ve got the skinny on it…

Here’s the problem. Fat cells are metabolically inactive, so they don’t release fat without external stimulation. As the fat cells enlarge, they reorganize themselves to fit into the network of collagen and elastin fibers surrounding them. As you might imagine, it gets pretty congested in there. The vascular and lymphatic system can’t circulate properly, so they’re unable to flush away waste and toxins. As a result, tissues become saturated with fluids, inflamed and swollen. Over time, the condition worsens and tissues thicken into hard pockets of fat.

So what does Lipomassage do? First, the motorized rotary rollers of Lipomassage Technology condition unhealthy fat tissue with highly targeted, specialized maneuvers. This stimulates fat cells’ adrenaline activity, and the ‘beta receptors,’ or cell ‘waste eliminators’ are sparked into action. This reactivation triggers lipolysis, or fat breakdown.

To illustrate this process, imagine a chubby, metabolically inactive fat cell suddenly being forced into a strenuous workout routine by a coach named Lipomassage. As that little fat cell is vigorously worked out, it starts shedding off all the excess fat.

The fat cell isn’t destroyed - it’s simply being restored to a healthy size. It’s releasing excess fatty acids into the bloodstream, where they can be burned off as energy. Here’s the real kicker: Since Lipomassage uses isometric contraction exercises to separate fat from muscle for a more intensive, targeted treatment –the released fat is being burned off during the treatment!

The result? Inch loss in fatty areas. And as surface skin layers are nourished with reinvigorated fluid exchanges, the irksome diet and exercise resistant cellulite is diminished, too.

So what about the technology? The principle is based upon two electronically controlled motorized rollers located in an airtight chamber. Working with aspiration (or suction), the rollers rotate in opposite directions towards each other, lifting skin tissue into the treatment chamber and forming a high, wide skinfold.

Depending on the rotation direction and speed of the independent motorized rollers, the skin is drawn in numerous different folds - all of different shapes, depths and thicknesses. Then, using variable speeds and intensities with forward, backward, diagonal and lateral maneuvers, skin is rhythmically folded and unfolded to accomplish the specific treatment objectives.

For instance, the Roll'in action works towards a more slenderized and streamlined physique – to make dense fat available for elimination. Roll'out reconditions and structurally redensifies the loose, sagging skin layers like arm fat, post-pregnancy skin and a sagging buttocks. The Roll'up action reshapes figure flaws like saddlebags, belly paunches and love handles. Only the newest LPG body contouring devices have the redesigned, three-dimensional treatment head with the speed and Roll’in, Roll’out and Roll’up rotation differentials that Lipomassage requires.

Is the technology safe? Definitely. The technique has been proven in almost 100 clinical studies and built upon 20 years of research and development. Besides being FDA cleared for cellulite reduction and inch loss, all of LPG’s non-invasive devices are Class 1 devices, which is the FDA’s highest safety classification.

Today, more than 85 clinical investigations have scientifically validated the reliability, efficacy, and safety of LPG Endermologie Technology for a wide array of treatment applications.
